    Hi,
    I use 250mm long test plates and disreguard the first and last 50mm for run on & run off. Hence the coupon sent is 150mm in length and all material being 150mm wide. This is sufficient for the macro test for welder qualification.
    But, if a procedure qualification is also needed, production of two coupons at 150mm are supplied to alllow for the extra testing. This however is determined by the extent of testing required to qualify the procedure depending on the consumable & preparation of joint.
