The arithmetic favours joining
The member discount on AWI certification is larger than the annual membership fee. Join first, then get certified, and you are ahead on the first transaction. Any membership where the numbers run the other way is a subscription, not a professional body.
Certification your employer can check
Every AWI certificate carries a number and goes on the AWI register. Your employer checks the register, not a photocopy.
A technical library, free to read
Standards explainers and the Job Knowledge series. Members get the full library and the archive; the standards explainers stay free for everyone, because a professional body’s job includes raising the floor.
Free while you are learning
Apprentices and full time students pay nothing, and the certification discount is waiting for them the day they finish their trade. Nobody on apprentice wages should be charged for technical information.

Fees are quoted on application. Ask us for the current schedule and you get the annual rate, the three year rate and the certification discount for the tier that fits you. Ask for the fee schedule.
