    I have received a WPS which is AS 1554-2011 SP MMAW positions All, the supporting WPQR is AS3992-1998 SMAW 6G Single Vee, my question is can you do this

    Yes that is fine, as long as the WPS meets all the essential variables of AS/NZS 1554.1.
    Also, the PQR & WPS should state direction of welding – vertical up or down, as a change of this requires re-qualification.
