Blazing,
No problem at all with what you are proposing.
Cheers,

Hi Guys,
If I am qualifying procedures to 1554, then welders to 2980 for 1554 overseas using EN 10025 S275JR material, can I qualify welders in Australia using AS3678 250/300grade (which is the equivalent) using the same WPS?
2980 states that materials within the same group number plus limits of table 2.5.2 are qualified (S275JR equivalent is group 1). clause 2.5.2 & table B2.
I have already undergone full mechanical testing for PQR creation because material doesn't comply to AS1554, but am hoping to qualify some welders back home before they ship out. Or because its not AS material, am I out of luck?
Your input would be great
Cheers.
