if the job does not require impact testing – preheat is not an essential variable
if it does require impacts then you can increase the preheat by up to 56C without requal

I have qualified several PQRs, all with CVN, RT, Tensile Pulls, Side Bends, MT, VT, Macro Etch and Hardness. All of the PQR's have not been with Pre Heat. A new customer requires preheat on production parts (exact same material thickness, grooves, base material, etc, as qualified on existing PQR's). Do I need to requalify procedures using the preheat specified by the new customer or can I just use existing PQRs?
