    I would go with AS1554.6-2012
    part one does not cover SS, but part 6 does deal with dissimilar joints between SS and CS

    Hi Flash,

    Thanks, I had a lick through part 6 but I have the 1994 version.  Is it an addition in the 2012 update SS to CS?  I will get my hands on the new version tomorrow. 

    The more I read through the standards the more you find out that there is so much more you need to know, crazy stuff.
