    No.  AS1554 requires fillet weld qualification.

    Yes, you can use a AS3992 butt weld procedure, however you will need to have also developed an AS3992 fillet weld WPS.

    A fillet weld WPS can then be developed using the AS3992 procedure, however you will need to use the essential variables of AS/NZS 1554.1.
