hi there, Im a trade cert boilermaker, that's wanting to up skill my self. I have spoken to a few people and they say the best option is to do my Cert 4 AS1796. my question is, with all the codes they list do you get a cert for each of them if you pass and do you have to pay for each on individually. also for the price are they worth doing?
By obtaining a welding certification, it gives prospective employers confidence that you can weld using that particular process. Quite a lot of employers also prefer the welders to be ticketed, and most will employ a ticketed welder, over a non-ticketed welder.
The price can vary from place to place, but you should be able to find a TAFE organisation that do the courses.
