Hi
I have a slight problem with an MDR in which the steel type according to 1554 is type 4 (as1163 c350 pipe) and the prequal consumable for flux cored is a35 etc and gmaw is w500.
The electrode spec used or quoted for both on the pqr is w503.
does this qualify without having to do any further testing as per table 4.7.1? they have only performed a macro and hardness test
this is a butt weld
thanks
